What our clients are saying

Current Client, August 2023

“I like to think of A Life of My Own as my ‘Strategy Consultant’!”

Parent of a college student

May 2020

A middle aged white woman with red hair and dark glasses looks at the camera with a big smile.

“When we contacted Bex a little more than a year ago, our son was struggling to complete his college degree. He was exhausted. His every attempt to “try harder” just resulted in more failure. He knew the material so well he could have taught most of it! But when “success” required him to communicate or negotiate with a professor, he froze.

Bex was truly a gift. It was such a relief for me to let go of trying to coach my son, love and enjoy him for who he is, and allow someone else to come alongside him.

And it was a pure joy to watch him as he began to experience successes and make tangible progress towards the goals he had for himself: graduation and the job he has been preparing for since third grade.

He is so happy and we are incredibly grateful. I only wish we had found [A Life of My Own] in the first year of his college life instead of his last.
